The texts are awful. I’ve wondered could any of them be from spam bots posing as Dems? They can’t ALL be bots, so plenty of campaigns need to find better ways. I do try to remember how I hate being “attacked” in these panicked texts when communicating with Repubs who are not overtly MAGA.

Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

MAHA: “We’re going to make America healthy again!”

The people: “So we’re getting universal healthcare, UBI, abortion access, clean air, public health campaigns and paid time off?”

MAHA: “Nope”

Us: “what do we get?”

Them: “Healthy. Or eliminated”

Believe Nazis when they tell you who they are

Just keep trying to legislate humans out of existing in public spaces. The last two bullets that are meant to turn teens, anyone who looks “suspicious” (and all the unfair profiling that can include), and the unhoused into criminals for just being in the world. (source, our local Community Impact)
