Anyone else unable to access this episode on any platform (apple podcasts, spotify)?

AI lacks somatic, subconscious, ‘sixth sense’ alerts such as restlessness, anxiety, intensity of thought, or a foreboding. Interesting that SG had the ‘embodied’ intelligence (gut reaction) to take down AI SG w/in 12 hrs. From what I’ve read, most AI’s wld actively thwart such proactive discretion.

2/2 the money, platform and influence of the likes of Trump, Musk and even Kirk. The elevation (and algorithm promotion) of irresponsible bullying behavior & inflammatory scapegoating & privileged threats of violence as a gateway to celebrity, access and fame fuels dangerous delusions of grandeur.

1/2 An addn’l hypothesis for the violent tipping point we see in young (predominantly white) young men: insecurity + unrealistic expectations ➡️ high risk affirmation seeking. All 3 fomented & amplified daily by an internet that peddles in the myth that we ALL can and should have …

As with most studies of social psychology, there is nuance, limits to what the data can decree about ALL humans. I recommend the Hidden Brain podcast for a more thoughtful investigation of studies like these. Call me a skeptic of anyone who barrels thru an interview allowing little interjection.

1) Love the show, but wanted to f/u of SG’s assertion on Tues episode (not sure why its not in feed) that issues like DEI attacks don’t constitute a crisis but lack of father figures for boys does. Of course, boys need role models, just ask generations of black sons who witnessed their fathers…

1. Hold a public, open-air
communal event both BEFORE and AFTER the speech. Rather than railing against his policies (narcissists love even negative attention) use it to affirm our democratic values (a “we believe” moment). Make it splashy so the news coverage upstages his speech.
