I get behind on housework, commissions, I can’t take care of my mom, I risk write ups if I have a job, etc. i miss out on a lot of friend time too.

The pain of migraines really sucks, but I think the thing that pisses me off the most is how much of my life I lose to them.
When I have a migraine I can’t do anything. Talking hurts, seeing hurts, hearing hurts, i vomit everything up, its awful.
I have to lay still for 12 - 72hrs and hope it goes

holy fuck i think i had the worse migraine of my life yesterday. Its still going, but i can at least open my eyes and talk again.

🫩 i really wish there was a way to get others (jobs) to understand migraines are not headaches but theorized to be related to seizures.

If they were uncomfortable about the scars, tbh they shouldn’t take the commission.
I have scars irl and I know they can make other people feel weird, but like.. removing/ignoring/censoring them conveys to me that I should see them as gross or unsightly? Scar acceptance is hard, but it’s important.
