Three digitally drawn red pandas are stacked up and do their own rendition of Hear/See/Speak no evil, of monkey fame. The top one has a stick of bamboo comically sticking through his head through the ears, and he holds the eyes of the middle one shut. The middle one is yelping in pain, because the lower one is biting his hand, thus keeping her mouth closed. It's all very silly

I'm glad you agree! The only reason that AI is even able to do anything is thanks to the decades of art uploaded and shared online *for free* by so many wonderful artists. :)

Yeah, that's a good approach! Luckily all the artists I follow are also opposed to AI, so it doesn't really creep onto my social media feeds, but I still see it everywhere else.

I know them well enough to know that it wasn't out of malice, and probably just a desire to get it done without "bothering" me, but still, yep. :')

Even a small business that I did some pro bono work for - needing an altered version for an announcement - fed that work into an AI so they could generate a slightly different variant. Could've just asked me! :'D

And it's everywhere. In art, in product images, in food advertising(!)
Some comical examples include a doctor's office with AI-generated employee photos (yeah, that inspires trust) and a small bakery that uses AI photos to advertise their goods. You can't sell noise bread. Or at least you shouldn't!

I miss the pre-AI era of art. When you saw a big detailed piece (or any cool looking art), you could just let yourself be amazed by the skill behind it, and have fun finding little obscure details. After seeing so much AI slop and expecting it everywhere, that initial emotion is gone now.
