Entirely appropriate that anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis are singing a song from the anti-slavery movement in the 1840s.

I couldn't work under those conditions and I'm sure a lot of other people feel the same. #EduSky

London is officially the most powerful city in the world right now The capital has topped the 2026 edition of the 'Global Power City Index', which ranks the 'magnetism' of cities around the world
London has, once again, topped the rankings as the city people most want to visit, work in, and live in.
Please don’t tell Farage and Leila Cunningham.
They’ll both be absolutely fucking livid
Chinchilla the Hun:
✅ Refereed to bar council for racism
✅ Used racist terms made famous by Anders Brevik
✅ Called a racist by Tory peers
✅ Sacked by Liz Truss (!) for incompetence
✅ Sacked by Sunak for multiple breaches of ministerial code
✅ The future of Reform
He's already the most unpopular POTUS since modern polling, ICE is proving unpopular even with a majority of his base, and the GOP expects a wipeout at the mid-terms. Add "Trump is weakening USA across the globe and ceding power to EU and China", and it's a recipe for GOP rebellion.

Everyone knows I’ve been very critical of the Labour government over numerous subjects, however, I have to acknowledge that there are individual ministers who do manage some good work.
This is a great opportunity for individual MPs and ministers to do some good.
I have to give it to Reform - they’re doing a fantastic job of catching the angry, unpopular and unemployable Tories into their retirement home of grievance.
Long may it continue.

Staying on X puts more money in Musk's pocket. 2. Interacting with posts from outrage farmers (like Laurence Fox, Katie Hopkins, Isobel Oakeshott, etc.) generates income for them and enables them to continue doing it. 3. The combination of Musk's bot army and his X algorithm promotes right-wing voices, deliberately skewing discussions & arguments. This gives him the upper hand in dictating the narrative & allows him to manufacture consent. 4. The presence of politicians, official government departments, news media & other regular users gives X the appearance of a legitimate and valid source of information, which it is not.
