which, of course, it doesn't! I should RTFM first, shouldn't I.
OK - so it looks like you'd have to include the PoE HAT on your board, and then feed the 5v back to the CM5 through the header pins.

ah, I see the Pi 5 POE hat somehow gloms onto the main header... so the same RJ45 is used. That's clever :)
So assuming the Pi5 PoE hat fits a CM5, then it should "just work"!?

Then if the Nvme went underneath you’d have rather a nice compact unit!

Or it could go up at the end you’re holding, replacing the RJ45 and the USB-C sockets…

That would be of interest to one of my Clients. Where would it sit… underneath, or make it even longer?
