First day off without commitments in like a month. I set my alarm for 9 hours but apparently slept through it and slept 13 hours. So now I've wasted it.

I think I just took some serious emotional damage from the end of Ortegas' episode..

I'm gunna need shower time.

Had a nightmare that I kept waking and falling back in to.

Worst part is how real everything felt and how strong the feelings still are.

Currently in the bottom of the shower trying to convince myself otherwise.

Mild crash out last night sorry. I'm having a lot of very strong swings between highs and lows lately, then last night's slight trigger.

Weird to be completely cognisant of what your brain is doing and how it's making you react or behave, yet still having difficulty regulating and controlling it.

Now they weren't the immediate friend circle, but people I'd known many years and see every few to 6 months etc.

Good enough friends though that I didn't realise my tagging along was a bother.

I've kept them at a safe distance ever since, and never really know how to engage when I see them now.

A couple years ago a bunch of friends ditched me at a cafe, deciding to go elsewhere right after telling me to meet at this other place.

After waiting at the first place for a while I reached out and everyone seemed very dismissive and reluctant to confirm the new location.

That was the dryer.

I'm tired of being an adult. 😑

Then there's everyone you interacted with as that characterisation, got art with, photos if there's a fursuit.

They had those interactions with you, not this rando that takes new ownership. Those pictures lose all meaning and in fact could become off putting or uncomfortable.

I dunno.

The concept of selling your character is wild to me.

I feel like there's a personal connection with my character, he's a representation of me, who I am and or want to be, there's meaning you know?

I get we all change, but it was still a part of me. Giving that to someone like "this is you now."
