He was a mentor to me for years, though distance meant we only met twice. As online spaces changed we lost contact. I used to send Christmas cards and letters, never knowing if they actually reached him.

I hope he’s alright, and often wonder how his life turned out.

There was a wise dragon who was an incredibly important part of my life when I was younger. I owe a lot of who I am to him, and I still think about him from time to time. Online, he went by Dragohn or Draphin.

I mean geeze multiple platforms have shows most people wouldn't have heard of like Andromeda with maga cuck Sorbo, but actually look for something you do want to watch and what a waste of money all these subs are.

Why do I not like cooking? Cause I got home from work about an hour and a half ago, and it's just taken me that long to cook, eat, and clean. Now if I want 8 hours sleep I should be in bed in 20 minutes.

So @luketh.bsky.social wanted to do a bit of Xmas decoration this year. I’d say he’s done a pretty great job!

Please don't think I'm ignoring you in particular, or on purpose.

I'm just mid burn-out atm, and any kind of pressure right now that's not immediately in person makes me shut down.

Missed a few of the usual socials because of work, and it’s wild how quickly your brain goes down that “nobody actually likes you or wants you around” spiral.

I know it’s just burnout from the new job and the extra take-home baggage, but damn, it still gets to you.

Pfft, like I'd give up 25 years of long service. :P

But without chucking specifics on social media, same company. I've been doing some higher duties, so this one was to manage some of the new testing.

Just spent all morning prepping for an interview, and absolutely royally flubbed it. None of the items I thought I would be asked about. I was all over the place.
