While this is in (very) slightly more collections than the other artist here, I still feel that @tremosphere.com's latest album is highly underrated.
It's synth-heavy, shoegaze-y, PostPop with an emotional clarity that's hard to say no to!

This is my artist statement in the face of nazism, fascism, wars, genocides, concentration camps, death camps, anti queerness, misogyny, anti children, systemic racism, islamophobia, antisemitism, ableism, famine, denial of healthcare, anti vaccination, the refusal of rich powerful nations to take care of people, the glorification of wealth, the attacks on climate and life for oil profits, the constant gaslighting by governments and CEOs and their enablers collapse of society is what's obscene

Yep, it hold up really well!
This has a dreamy atmosphere, interesting lyrics, gorgeous singing, a destinct style and an incredible emotional clarity.
It's not an album that I re-listen all the time, but one that I'll still return to regularily.
@tremosphere.com made something great with this!

Ms Solanas says this of the new record: "At the core of saturated solace, "Would You Love Me" and "I Ran (After Love)", an emotional sonic diptych that started the whole album, even though "Along the Way" had been written first, just a few weeks before. The need for an album hadn't taken shape yet. I became obsessed with the phrase "would you love me if I were the same", and that led to the birth of these two inseparable yet distinct tracks. This album is about the exhaustion of the soul, our constant struggle between darkness and light, how to live a rich sustainable life we have to try and find balance everyday. All the disappointments, the circumstances we have little to no control over, the social determinism, the pain we can inflict on one another. And the hope when people take a stand, speak and live their truth, how when we choose Love we honor the miracle of being alive."

Strictly speaking, Tremosphere are not dark ambient - describing themselves as "Experimental, sultry, post-rock dreampop, dark wave, pop drone music...". But, there are definite dark ambient elements to their music and - quite simply - this is so good that I felt it deserved to be shared here. This is one of those albums that gets under your skin (in a good way!) and keeps pulling you back for "just one more listen". Highly recommended for those looking for something a little different from the usual dark ambient. Splendid!

Featuring seven new tracks written by Sylvia Solanas and another three co-written with Michael Serafin-Wells, the new album sees the band both finding new sounds via Solanas’s adventurous synths and Serafin-Wells’s addition of baritone guitar to his signature work, while building upon the rich, moody and evocative sonics of their previous releases.
