These are the beautiful students we met on a trip to the glorious historic city of Mandalay in 2018. Thinking of them and all others suffering.

I used to help elderly people claim attendance allowance — the one that sticks is the old frail lady who had slept in a chair for weeks because she couldn’t climb stairs. When asked if she needed help getting into bed, her answer was”no”.
