Federal law requires furloughed workers be granted backpay.

Seasonal employees across our national parks were asked to stay available during the federal government shutdown. It is not only against the law to refuse to pay them, it is cruel.

"Drain the swamp" didn't mean drain it into the present misadministration. Or considering who the puppet "in charge" is, maybe that is what it really was meant to be. Corollary saying apropos for this time "Sluice the gold" .... into my coffers. The new presidential reality.
