My world has a term called "deviants", which officially refers to mutants or people who have simply speciated away from "true humans" over the millennia. Of course, however, anything outside the norm, like sexuality and gender, are lumped under the nebulous term of "deviant" as if theyre mutations.

I lost my wife recently and suddenly. She was 30. Folks say Ill get through it eventually. But it feels like this is just my new existence. This article really helps. It puts words to what Ive been feeling. Thank you. Thank you so much.

Id say awareness is a broad thing. Youre talking more versus less. As for handling people like that, my tacticnis usually to give folks benefit of the doubt and if theyre still belligerent, well I dont gotta feel bad about blocking them.

This is true but I have seen this talking point weaponized to discourage calling out AI broadly. As such I think the issue of false AI accusations to be overrepresented in an environment where AI is actually genuinely flooding the internet.

I recommend to either (a) preconceive of a clever idea and figure out how to represent that in mechanics or (b) be inspired to form an idea around a cool mechanic or combo of mechanics

My cis wife takes HRT. While we can make a categorical distinction between gender affirming care and fighting aging, the idea that the same medicine and treatment are categorically different when done to a trans person, opposed to cis, is regressive. Everyone should have access to the care she gets.

Also I resent the notion that higher levels being underused means they are bad. All media experiences have people that don't make it to the end; this doesn't mean the ends don't have value and shouldn't be made well.

I think a lot of people have internalized DnD's higher levels often going unused, difficult to balance, and lacking in material, but their solution is that those levels are intrinsically a bad design decision instead of something that can potentially be done well.
