Making some comics and then maybe I'll let myself animate some little scenes for a trailer to go online to try to sell it? Lure them in with some moving picture & then hit 'em with the bespoke handmade zines they gotta read!

Looking at some really old layouts for stories on my ipad and it's making me really love the idea of making comics. It's also making me think more about doing scifi animated stories too for some reason.

There were times when I was really depressed and I would like obsess over trying to make everyone else happy somehow? Like if you were ever kind to me I felt this huge obligation to keep you from feeling sad? ugh. Now I see the pattern, but it is weird how the brain tries to solve things sometimes.

I'm a big fan of Fresh Thyme grocery stores. I feel like I end up getting good organic food and it costs me much less than a regular grocery story somehow.

Print shop feels much nicer it's keeping it at around 70, but the humidity is still really high. I guess it's because the outdoor humidity is like 90%? I dunno still trying to figure this shit out.

One thing I've learned is giving up completely on the idea of a "full script" for comics, and I think animation too. Have to do a lot of the writing visually from the start.

We could instead create algorithms that diffuse and spread around discoverability and highlight smaller creators, but what we have is mostly just an exponential growth one small end of the ecosystem. It could look more like a standard gaussian distribution or something.

There are a lot of ways you can go shopping for GEAR instead of just working on something, or looking for a polished concept to apply in that horrible 'steal like an artist' bullshit. All you end up with is less dirt on your hands and weaker creative muscles.

I think as a creative the impulse to just 'shop' instead of getting your hands dirty and making is a rotten dead end in a lot of ways.
