"Crisis caused by privatisation & profiteering.. Money buys less.
Invest to rebuild public sector.
Privatisation has been disastrous in so many sectors"
Yet labour fails to credit different Scottish decisions, wants Scotland to follow blindly (nuclear, data management etc)

Maybe, maybe not, we know labour & tory are quite willing to make deals and pacts despite their public rhetoric. And if I was wavering, a known face might sway my vote as might a sinking ship narrative. You think you have it all worked out and good for you, I'm not so sure we can game it that's all

2 options - keep arguing and falling out over voting intentions, causing yet more division, suspicion and mud slinging OR
vote for the candidate and party you feel is best and accept the democratic result
Who benefits from stoking yet more division between independence supporters?

Far from it, I'm surrounded by boxes of SNP leaflets waiting to go out thanks to a band of volunteers like me committed to fight for independence. As for losing seats, we have quite a few strong well kent figures stepping down and we have the unknown Reform effect, can you guarantee no SNP losses?

12.02.2026 12:09 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

But you are assuming the SNP will win most of the constituency seats, SNP members are not so arrogant as to take that for granted. Bottom line, support the candidate and the party you think best, let the result reflect democratic choices not guessing games and quit slagging others for their choices

Four months ago, I committed to introducing a pilot of GP walk-in clinics.

Today I am opening Scotland's first walk-in GP clinic in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh - open seven days a week, 12-8pm, no appointments needed.

Thanks to our fantastic NHS staff for making this possible.

95% of Scotlandโ€™s schools in good condition up from only 62% under Labourย and they struggle to do anything about it in England after 19 months in government and need refurbishing or even replacing, according to a group of MPs in a report thatโ€™s out this morning. Palantir were handed a ยฃ240m contract without bidding for it by the Government.

It simply shouldn't be legal for the Government to handout huge amounts of money to whoever they like without any oversight.

That's not democracy.

Did I imagine it or did Douglas Alexander say on BBC that Anas Sarwar was the first minister after him? That surely shows that Scottish MSPs are seen as beneath MPs in the political hierarchy does it not?

10.02.2026 20:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Anas Sarwar is full of his own importance just now, but he might be about to find out why independence supporters complain about the democratic deficit - Scotland can always be outvoted or overruled by English voices

They could do with having at least one presenter from each of the devolved nations to bring a bit more balance, there really is very little knowledge or understanding of Britain as a whole. I think Alex Salmond used to be invited on to Ian Dale's show around 2014, but nothing really since then

Could someone at LBC give credit to the SNP for policies (often furiously opposed by the labour MSPs) that have resulted in fewer school exclusions? It is clear labour are trying to make changes without ever mentioning they already are in place in Scotland. You wonder why we vote SNP?
