Our research shows Woodside’s North West Shelf gas export extension will result in 4.3 billion tonnes of emissions.

The best way to fight the climate crisis is to stop approving coal and gas projects.

‘Aqua nullius was a myth too’: Yoorrook puts claim on share of water billions The inquiry has proposed a rethink of the state’s water system, arguing First Peoples are too far removed from a resource that is fundamental to their culture.

When Europeans colonised Victoria, they didn’t just steal land — they stole water.

The #Yoorrook Justice Commission has exposed the myth of “aqua nullius” and calls for First Nations’ inherent water rights to be recognised.

Why I’ve said goodbye to the gas cooktop for my health Australia may have cemented its love affair with gas with the recent extension of Woodside’s North West Shelf project in WA until 2070, but at home I’ve said goodbye to gas.

Burning gas indoors is a really bad idea.

It produces nitrogen dioxide (aggravates asthma), carbon monoxide (reduces the blood’s ability to carry oxygen), formaldehyde and benzene (cause cancer).

Charts showing that actual emissions are only 12.8% below 2005 levels while if you include land use they are 27% down

90% of the drop in emissions since 2005 is from counting "land use" (ie the big land clearing that happened in 2005).

If you just count actual emissions, we're only 2.8% lower than in 2005
