A church member at Urban Village Church sent this one along, where Mary, Joseph and Jesus are gone and replaced with a sign that reads: “Due to ICE activity in our community, the Holy Family is in hiding.”

I am interested in how embeddings can be used to improve search but too often i find myself yelling at the search engine being like, “no, i really mean what I typed!”

Search for "can lava be radioactive" with a set of the google related "questions" shown including: Did NASA find lava sharks? What is the #1 deadliest shark? What animal can survive a volcano? And then the absolutely mind blowing, What are the sights before the rapture? and Where in the Bible does it talk about the earyh will be destroyed by fire?

I was curious about lava radioactivity so googled something like a child and instead of fun science facts i found a grim reminder of how AI word associations are legitimately insane and can take you some fucked places

It's a bit sad that fanfiction is often seen as 'a girl thing' which is purely about romance/shipping (I love the shipping do not get me wrong) because I think there's a decent subset of Lore Guys who would be much happier writing fanfiction than debating if the 'original story' of Destiny would

I dunno. I think a lot about what I’ve read about when millenarian predictions fail. Some people keep the dreams, but many people do in fact give up on them.
