That x candidate must serve YOU personally, your particular political niche first and foremost, "earn" your vote?
How selfish can you get?

The entire framing of "x candidate must EARN my vote" is invalid.
These elections are not just about YOU and YOUR vote or who is pure enough to "earn" your blessing.
It is about the BALANCE OF POWER.
You either vote blue or trump and his regime get all the power.
SIMPLE math.
