Oh Catherine O'Hara, what an enormous loss. Please let me know your favourites of hers so I can watch them all. So far I have:
- Home Alone (of course)
- Beetlejuice
- Waiting for Guffman
- Best in Show
- Schitt's Creek (obviously)
- NCTV (digging them up from archive.org)

I didn't know this. That'll be the last time I buy from them, and we have been frequent customers.

That wasn't my point. I said they had their strongest voting result (in which I meant number of votes). You disagreed. And so here we are. I don't need a lecture on how to read election results. Thanks though.

You understand they can have a net negative swing against them while still having more total votes than in previous elections?

Do you have a link for this update? I'm still seeing "Lib Retain" with a substantial gap in votes.

The count in Wannon seems to have tightened, and ABC has moved it back to "Lib Ahead" (rather than "Retain" last night). They have Liberal Dan Tehan ahead by just 401 votes at present.
Fingers crossed for you #AlexDyson and @voicesofwannon.bsky.social !

Yep, and it's why the Teals and other indies are holding on so well. We want MPs who listen to the people, not blindly spout party lines.

Yes! They've had their strongest overall vote in history - it didn't translate to winning electorates, but it looks like a strong positive for the Senate πͺπΌ

Totally agree. The results of this election seem to be a thorough rejection of Dutton, rather than effusive support for Labor. Greens seats have been lost as voters flipped back to the "safe" vote, to ensure Dutton didn't get in.
I hope Labor understands that we want more progressive policies...

I would think that this would be a perfect opportunity for Albo to stand up and show that he is the "good guy", and is actually on the right side of history. Right before the election against Temu Trump. Perfect for PR.
Playing with Trump's nonsense on tariffs is just a distraction.

@albomp.bsky.social had better come out in strong support of Ukraine, otherwise I'll be marching on the streets.
