Companies "using AI" are not necessarily constrained to asset or performance generation: this technology can be largely invisible to the consumer, and for better or worse, I imagine any studio that's writing code has AI tooling in their stack.

This doesn't feel like the hot take people are making it out to be. I work in tech, not games, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a tech company that's not using a AI-backed IDE like Cursor or Claude Code.

A (large!) package I ordered was delivered to an incorrect address 2 miles from our house. I used the address number and delivery photo in Google Lens to figure out the street and just conducted a successful rescue mission. I am unreasonably proud of how this played out ☺️

I think it’s worth noting this piece generated the most unsubscribes I’ve seen in a while, and the newsletter version had the lowest open rate in many months. These horrors persist in part because too many people go to great pains to avoid them.

it's an optimistic read (and I say this as a fan of TOW, no ill will to these devs), but I hope the BDS pressure on Xbox is at least partially responsible for the low pre-orders that likely accounted for this change
