I also played hom in a few dnd games to figure out his character. Had to translate him to those rules. He was a Human,colossus slayer Ranger, Haunted One.

I feel like that gets into the subject of... what is Art? And I, admittedly a hot take, opinion here is that everything can be art, but not everything is art. I think context of any time period when talking art is important, especially the current one. What with all the consumerism and AI.

Since I've started to get into the Game Mastering part of ttrpg, I've considered starting an interview series with other GMs to talk about all the things that go into doing the thing. Philosophy of play, inspirations from other media or just life. The stories that go into stories. But should I?

I bet it does gangbusters!

2 smash patties with sautéed onion cooked into them, cheddar cheese on top, Swiss on the bottom, fresh crunchy pickles, slice of heirloom tomato. Top it with sole horseradish mustard and avocado. Bun toasted on the white side, then steamed over the patties while on the grill.

Also, because I need to get better at social media and I happen to be on today. A short film I scored was accepted to the Flatland Film Festival! I'm not sure I can name it, Festival rules are odd, just know it's about a puppet who turned to crime so he could keep his program funded. Timely as funk!

And wouldn't you know ot, I've been sitting on a couple of demos in that style... for like a few years now. Even more reason to do it!

While getting ready for me first time GMing dnd, I've finally got the inspiration to start composing the second volume of my ttrpg soundtrack!

I'm running a lovecraftian modified "Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse," and I just really want to do a spooky, horror infused, nautical score!

We can just... ask this? This is a thing we can do!?

BTW, been listening to Where they landed a bunch sonce it released! Great work!

You ever want to do a soundtrack for it... I may know a guy!

What is Art to a Fascist?

Got my new book after pre-ordering it last year! "How a Game Lives: the Annotated Essays of @jacobgeller.com." It's beautiful and way larger than I thought it would be. If you've never heard of him, one of the first things in the book is titled "What is Art to a Fascist," so you know it'll be good!

Polychaete. I saw those big sand worms in Mass Effect and then found out we got real ones in the sea. Pretty neat.

I just got hired to score a short film! It's a muppets crossed with mafia style setting. Got a little over a week to do it, but that's more than enough time, probably.

Early Mother's Day dinner I made for my mah. Carrots, red peppers, yellow peppers, and chicken on a lo mein base, topped with green onions and even more chicken! Packed it up in a foil plate and delivered to her house. I did not get a tip for delivery, but she did give me 2 outdoor solar lamps.

Dude... dude. That's been the last 4 months for me.

When TES Oblivion first came out, I rented it. I didn't get far into it. I just couldn't get into it. When the remaster dropped, I figured I'd give it another try. Maybe I still won't like it, but maybe it'll click this time. Made some arroz con leche too.
