I just finished The Iron Wyrm Affair by @lilithsaintcrow.com — have you ever read an author and felt like you just haven’t found the *right* one of their books yet? Yeah, I found the Lilith Saintcrow series that was meant for me, and it’s Bannon and Clare.

These thoughts brought to you by the fact that I have listened to enough Epic Trailer versions of songs that the Amazon algorithm made me a playlist of slowed down, overly dramatic covers.

On the one hand, “Dragula” slowed down and creepified would be amazing for a horror parody.

On the other hand, what if you went entirely the other direction and took, say, “bury a friend” and re-did it Katy Perry style for a Stepford Wives kind of movie?

“Perfect” is the enemy of basically everything. Also, you look better than you think you do.
