I’m required to teach it this year (4th grade in CA); I’m going to approach it from a few different places:
1. It’s good for your brain to learn new things.
2. It can help read older documents (like letters from family!)
3. It can be faster to write than print. 4. LET’S LEARN CALLIGRAPHY!!

Marinated/friend tofu with rice and veggies! I use Bachan’s bbq sauce (the miso one is my favorite), cut the tofu into chunks, let it sit for a while, and cook stovetop until it has a texture I like.
