The city made it illegal to drive cars on certain roads in Byrd park on Sundays specifically to stop the cookouts and gatherings. (Mostly Black) people used to gather there every Sunday to hang out, wax their cars, listen to tunes, grill some food and listen to music. youtu.be/8zesllmP9q8?...

RE: the public parks, the city also hates Black people gathering together. I’m sure the original intent of the insane fee you must pay to have amplified music at a park shelter is related to that.

A coalition of groups organized by @richmonddsa.bsky.social are meeting at city hall THIS MONDAY 2/23 at 5:15 to rally to BLOCK FLOCK and tell the mayor to NOT RENEW the contracts with Flock Safety.

City council meets at 6pm. Show out if you are able

Yeah Richmond Synth Collective looked into doing a meetup with some live performances in a Richmond park and we gave up. It’s the small venues like Reveler giving us life (so much love to Tom) by giving us space for free. The city acts like it hates artists.

Good morning Richmond music friends. Just practicing with some new controls I mapped out on my performance setup this morning, figured I'd share. Also hi #synthsky

Slop for people who don’t realize part of the actual enjoyment of watching good fight choreography in a movie is knowing real people pulled it off. Using the style of jump cuts you use to cover for actors who can’t perform long sequences when you don’t even have actors sure is a choice.

Speaking of buying pints if you’re ever over here in Northside I can be summoned on short notice to any beer serving establishment on Brookland Park to buy someone who fights for being able to still forecast the weather a drink.

I know I haven’t posted any music in awhile. World got me down for a bit but fortunately I’ve remembered making music is awesome. Working on a new control scheme for my next live set and some new tunes.
