Looking for a guide/article to send to faculty on how to read course evals in a way that is productive and mitigates potential harm. Something that acknowledges inherent flaws/biases of the evals and centers instructor well-being & emotions. Any suggestions?

The term itself shows how narrowly define learning. Young people learned so much by living through the pandemic, maybe too much.

I'm glad you had such a meaningful experience! It's also sort of sad that I wouldn't use any of these terms to describe the online pod.

Is this the right platform to let people know that I put on a button up shirt today for the #POD23 online conference and then proceeded to have my camera off the whole time? I feel like someone needs to know I'm wearing a button up shirt.

I love this question. It's amazing how entrenched the "ideal" worker can become, which makes it hard for people to see the harms the ideal perpetuates (especially if people don't experience friction with the "ideal" for themselves).

Thank you for coming to the session and bringing your insights and experience! Too many people are being harmed by this "ideal" in so many different ways.
