Symbols matter. They shape who feels welcome in our streets. When flags are used as intimidation, they shrink belonging. My poster flips that script, uniting instead of dividing. In a city defined by diversity, this feels not only important, but urgent.

the counter demo was built all summer but didn't cut through. The same people (sutr) called the huge local counter protests in August '24. But yesterday ppl stayed home. I suspect fear of getting battered plays a big role. But big civil society orgs (TU's, churches) need to step up.
