Me being simplistic again. Cycling is a good thing. We elect our councillors to get on with making the city better. They are not there to rule by opinion poll. We have to let them get on with it, whether we agree with them on each individual thing or not. The reckoning is the ballot box.

100%. People just want a house to live in that's stable. This is my first house that I bought for £70k in around 2000 with a 100% mortgage. It's nothing special, 2 and half bedrooms with a little garden but I loved this house. It recently sold for £285k. Unaffordable for the me in 2000 now.

Here in Birmingham I think the flags are emboldening the racists. Our local FB groups used to be lost dogs and ads for nail services. Now there's a lot of anti immigrant posts.
