8. Whenever I am about to enter an area, look at the map to know where everything is.
9. When I am 100% sure I have cleared an area, look at the maps and walkthroughs again just to feel powerful.
4. Whenever I am stuck at a boss, look and see what I am missing.
5. Whenever I have an aggravating runback to a boss, look to see how I can make it 10% shorter.
6. Whenever I have a hard time reaching a bench, before I sit on it, look to see if that is the bench that kills you when you sit on it.
I have now had time to plan and research and prepare myself to play Silksong! My steps ...

2. Whenever I get stuck for a while, look and see where I should have gone.
3. Whenever I have a confusing choice, look and see what I should do.

An envelope and letter from spiderweb software. Covering parts of the letter, and cleverly obscuring the addresses and phone numbers, are a variety of stickers, including an Avernum 4 logo sticker, an Avernum spider sticker, a ghostly wraith holographic sticker which I’m sure is lore related but I’ve completely forgotten about, and a child’s drawing of an Avernum spider. The letter reads: Greetings! Thank you so much for supporting Avernum 4: Greed and Glory! Enclosed are all the physical goodies you ordered when you backed our game. We hope they provide you with comfort and amusement as we work to get the game out the door for Windows and Mac in October (and for the iPad not long after). As we've been keeping Spiderweb Software alive and developing, Kickstarter has been an enormous help. In fact, without Kickstarter, we would have a very hard time staying in business. About game difficulty debates:
Some players are difficulty fetishests. They will ALWAYS tell you to make your game harder, ALWAYS oppose making it easier, and ALWAYS mock people who have trouble.
It's one voice to listen to, but you must always, at some point, tell them no.
