A big change I'm working on is allowing BOSSES to be shot with the PEARL POWER. I think it's the right thing to do, since it make the power-up feel more meaningful.
But each of the 8 unique bosses need to be re-coded a bit to support this. Should be worth it I hope!

Super fun game! It's got a great "pick up and play" style that is fun even for 5-10 minute bursts of play. Highly recommend.

I reworked the camera, improved clipping and rewrote the physics with acceleration and drift, the feel is better now

Ok, maybe someone knows more about this than me. But why does Castlevania II on the FDS have so much English text? The prologue and the ending are both entirely in English. Is that not odd? Did Japanese children know enough English to read this?
The rest of the game is all in Japanese.
Additionally, another cool romhack feature that I just finished is the map that's accessible when you pres Select, this map was available in the FDS manual, and maybe could help make sense of the crazy world Simon is in:
