Where are the militias defending their people against the government troops with the guns they fought long and hard to keep for that express purpose

Coming from a country that is a literal union of states...should the US disband too, to better represent their people?

Movie you've seen more than six times with a gif. Hard mode, no stars (trek or wars) LOTR, or Marvel.

It feels outgrown. Like the actors outgrowing their characters. Still flashes of greatness. Like the start of episode 2, which was gripping and visceral, but those moments are too few and far between amongst the hammy silliness.not that it's worthy of any h8

Don't allow them to normalise this. Don't allow yourselves to get numb to it. These goons need to be in prison, along with those who gave the orders.

They'll have to when the plummeting levels of immigration cripple the economy/growth and they have to start bribing immigrants to come back to staff the collapsing NHS/care sector.

Let silly hacks go and work on their next bit of Westminster gossip. THIS is the main news from that conference. The clearest indication yet, right from the top.

Love how everyone is suddenly so keen to completely fuck a university system that made the economy huge amounts of money and basically financed the education of young British adults by creaming money of foreigners. Thought the racists would have loved that shit

"Cornish tax payers to pay X million for new nuclear power stations in Somerset/suffolk"
"Berkshire tax payers to pay X hundred thousands in tax to pay for healthcare in swindon" London tax payers to pay X billion for roads, hospitals, education etc literally everywhere else"

Satan: 'This is the river of lava where you'll suffer for all eternity.'

Me: 'We're underground, so this is magma, not lava.'

Satan: 'You do know THAT'S why you're here, don't you?'

It's all so supine and pathologically risk averse. A government trying to survive day to day, too scared to take the kindness of big decisive action which would repair the country and win an election. An unbelievable wasted opportunity.

This. If the charity is huge and she's managing huge budgets, you need to pay well to attract the best people, and I'm fine with it. If charity trustees feel she adds value and is worth it etc

Why are we still allowing the french to call Germany Allemande? Or why am I saying Germany and not Deutschland? Why don't Americans/english pronounce Munich as munchen, or Paris paree? Other languages have different words for some countries/cities. And that's ok.

Weird how they anchored it in the kremlins wish list and tried to wrong foot the Ukrainians, rather than presenting Moscow with Ukraine's demands in order to put Putin off...

The Confidence Trick That Put Boris Johnson Into Power Is Now Being Used on Nigel Farage The same people who convinced the British public to back a catastrophic Boris Johnson premiership are now pulling the same trick again with Nigel Farage

The right wing elite are ruthless in protecting their own and getting what they want.
They wanted Johnson. (And what a disaster that was for us).
Now they want Farage. (Would be an off the scale catastrophe for the country).
Time we woke up to the betrayal.

Also want to join British Mountaineering Council, register with mountain training for the leadership qualification, and start logging quality mountain days in preparation for qualifying over next year or two. As well as improving my YouTube video skills and releasing more trip and gear videos

Regardless of that, If all these huge achievements were truly making a meaningful difference to people's lives and delivering the change they demanded, would labour be underwater in the polls and getting worse? Does it sound like it's enough for the voters now? Do you think it will become enough?

They need to wake up. Deliverism isn't enough. Tinkering with the status quo isn't enough. CHANGE is what was promised. And not just small incremental improvements over what was done by the appalling Tories.

I've worked in the NHS, I come from two NHS family dynasties, I get it. But it's not ENOUGH. Making it a bit easier/quicker to be seen than when it was awful, doesn't make people notice, it doesn't noticeably improve their lives. I wish it did, but it doesn't and isn't enough to stop what's coming

This is how Rachel Reeves could deliver a progressive budget The chancellor has an opportunity to boost the public purpose and deliver redistribution

Will UK Chancellor redistribute?

End two-child benefit cap, cost Β£3bn-Β£3.6bn.
Abolish VAT on domestic fuel, cost Β£2.5bn.
Increase income tax personal allowance by Β£1000, cost Β£8.4bn.

Taxing capital gains at same rate as wages, generates Β£14bn+ more in NIC.

Another world is possible.
