I wonder if Adobe sends a cease and desist to anyone using a lowercase “i” when making graphics about AI use. Put it in a box like this and it’s just the Adobe Illustrator logo.

(Not that we shouldn’t complain about them too since they integrated AI everywhere within their creative software.)

To summarize
-waves are not seasonal
-vaccines are waning
-people are getting long covid
-it’s still not an endemic disease
-very young kids are at increased risk because they didn’t go through the initial vaccine series

Oh and it turns out, Covid Cautious people have been right the whole time.

They've already altered the TIFF schedule. PALESTINE 36 had a P&I screening in Scotiabank 4 on 9/6 and now it's suddenly in TIFF Lightbox 3 on 9/5.

Always a pain to need to re-check every day in case your whole timeline gets messed up and you need to pivot.

TIFF schedule is tentatively set with 10 titles on the big screen in Toronto. So, that also meant it was time to send 17 different emails to publicists for everything I couldn't fit in just in case screeners become available.

Never played either version, but this NINTENDO POWER cover from 1990 was always one of my faves as a kid.

Saw Lisa Langseth’s PURE at @viffest.bsky.social in 2011 based solely on the seemingly hyperbolic buzz that Alicia Vikander was destined to crossover into Hollywood and win awards. Had to see if the hype was legit and she was fantastic in it. Then came the Oscar win only five years later.
