I find the ads on youtube to as annoying as they are strange. Like, why am I getting ads for Cadillacs? Isn’t the fact that I’m getting ads, indicating that I can’t afford YouTube premium, evidence enough that could never afford a fucking Caddy in the first place? Who is this ad for?

Oh it’s just super modern. Unsurprisingly, of course. It was just a little jarring to see Cookie Monster use an iPad, you know?

Huh. Sesame Street sure is different these days.

Took a shower. Noticed the conditioner was empty. Aware there is a full one in the closet. Don’t want to be the one to replace it because I want to avoid the old “why did you open a new one? There’s so much left in the current one!” I scrubbed every molecule that I could from the old one…

Now that the election is said and done, Canada has made a safe, unchallenging decision. The fact that the NDP lost so much is a little disappointing and depressing, but I suppose it’s better than the alternative.

You know, in terms of song writing, I’d put “The Other Man” by Sloan up there with any of the finest crafted songs our species has produced.

Why is social media a thing?

Is this where we all exist now? Has this replaced real life? Could anyone have predicted that our society would end up this way? I’m actually asking.

And yes, I see the irony(?) of using social media to ask those questions.

In these crazy times, I suggest getting stoned and listening to Joni Mitchell’s “Blue”.

Being called “Hot Wheels” might be the most complimentary thing anyone has ever said about him.

They say “in vino veritas.” While that may be true, I say a better idiom would “in cannabis veritas” because the truth you speak is to yourself, the person who needs to hear it the most.
