Looks as if Trump is saying no Democrat will be allowed to win another national election—and he will use the FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA to make sure of that. This is a full-scale attack on American democracy, and every Republican, CEO, and conservative mouthpiece who doesn't object is complicit.

As recounted in a NY Times article at the time, in 1980, Trump promised to rescue the graceful facade sculptures and give them to the Met Museum to preserve for posterity. Yet he inexplicably reneged on his promise & instead had the sculptures "smashed by jackhammers," as the Times article reported

The UAE bought $2B of Trump's stablecoin. Trump gave them access to rare AI chips.

Saudi Arabia invested $2B in Kushner's firm. Trump sold them $142B in arms.

What do I know and I'm not saying it's a magic bullet or anything like that but it sure seems to me that Dems should run hard on the Argentina bailout. Not anywhere near the worst thing Trump has done, but i suspect it's unusually clarifying.

The people who want violent protests to happen are Trump, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth, Tom Homan, and other senior appointees in his admin. They are doing everything they possibly can to provoke people to violence and it is obvious that is what they hope for daily.

A second man dies in ICE custody at a Missouri detention center Leo Cruz-Silva, 34, was arrested for public intoxication and died by apparent suicide after just one day at an ICE detention center in Ste. Genevieve. He is at least the 15th ICE detainee death nationwide, and the second in Missouri this year.

Leo Cruz-Silva, 34, originally from Mexico, was being detained by Festus police after his Sept. 30 arrest for public intoxication. He was transferred to ICE custody on Oct. 1. After one day in the jail, Cruz-Silva was dead. (@stlpublicradio.bsky.social)

The concert also has the famous incident in which Sinead O’Connor was booed for tearing a photo of the pope on SNL the week before and Kris Kristofferson goes out on stage to give her a hug and says “don’t let the bastards get you down”!

This rocked my world when I was 21! I purchased the pay per view Bob Dylan tribute concert and watched it live in my dorm room on a tiny tv with a group of friends. There are many great performances but this was my favorite. Too bad I forgot how to spell Vedder. 😆
