I remember my dad lugging our big tube TV to the repair shop, it seemingly being there for weeks, and then finally coming home all fixed up!

I have up for sale an OG Nintendo Switch (not OLED). Console with both Joycons. No other accessories included. Battery works, but probably doesn't last as long as a new battery. Console isn't banned so you can use it online. Screen in good condition with light marks on the chassis.

That's why I shy away from downloading ISOs on the Internet Archive, a lot of them don't have comments and it's hard to tell which work and which don't.

Lion was a pretty rocky version of the Mac OS. But at least you can upgrade it easily once you have any OS installed :-)

What Mac / system are you creating the boot drive from? Sometimes M1+ Macs makes things a bit... hairy.

Another option, use one of Colin's patcher app (for High Sierra etc) and make an installer that way. The add-on tools are optional, but it's OS boot disk maker works. dosdude1.com/software.html

I tend to use some GUI tools, depending on the version, just because I make typos easily :)

Hm, use a USB flash drive with a bootable OS install if you can create one (needs a Mac usually).
