I think "ableism" gets overused sometimes but damn, people pathologizing other people who don't like being around small children definitely feels ableist. Given that I'm also uncomfortable around large dogs I should just go full W.C. Fields just to spite everyone.

Well I don't trust people who gleefully pathologize other people who have traits that don't affect them in the slightest, especially while unconvincingly saying they're not being ableist about it (seriously, can you read people's minds to know why they don't like children?), so I guess we're even.
