Stanford defeats Boston College 70-64 as Okorie leads the way
The Stanford Cardinal won a tough one on the road against the Boston College Eagles, 70-64. Stanford's star freshman Ebuka Okorie once again delivered a great game, scoring a game-high 22 points on 8-14 shooting, including 2-5 from three-point range, to go along with 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and a steal. Benny Gealer was equally impressive, scoring 21 points on 7-14 shooting, including 6-13 from deep, while adding 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Boden Kapke, Fred Payne, and Luka Toews did most of the scoring for the Eagles, finishing with 15, 14, and 13 points, respectively.

Miami picks up big win 75-66 over North Carolina
The Hurricanes picked up their first ranked win of the season by knocking off the No. 11 Tar Heels, 75-66. Miami never trailed in the game, and UNC was only able to tie the score three times. The 'Canes attacked UNC down low, outscoring North Carolina 46-28 inside the paint. Ernest Udeh Jr. and Malik Reneau each had a double-double for the Hurricanes. Udeh Jr. had 15 points, 10 rebounds, a steal, a block, and an assist. Reneau finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. North Carolina's Caleb Wilson had 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks.
