This grocery store is trying to help everyone of low income. They are not picking on ssdi recipients, as they (and you) would fully qualify for SNAP in Oregon. If you read the article, they even went throughbthe effort so that ANYONE can get the discount if they need it.

If you are in Oregon (which this article is about) , you have been misled The SNAP threshold for 1 person in Oregon is $2609 per month. Someone living only on $1000 ssdi would absolutely qualify.
