Glover is less musically talented, although his Childish Gambino output is fine and interesting, but his stand up, acting and writing (‘Community’ and, especially, ‘Atlanta’) are superb and thoughtful.
I’d nominate Donald Glover and Pharrell Williams.

If I remember, a pal of mine used to buy from the Groove Merchant website when they had offers and picked up some bargains.
That’s an excellent comp. I’m after the first Groove Merchant comp from a few years ago (Trippin’) but it’s hard to come by within budget.
