November 20th is the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. 🏳️‍⚧️ This is the day where we solemnly remember the lives of the trans members of our community who we lost to violence in the last year.

I’m pleasantly surprised by how much emphasis the show is putting on a mother’s sacrifice. It’s the most moving part of the show for me. I love the Mother Team. I’m enjoying the main couple’s chemistry and the humor, too ofc #dynamitekiss #kdramas

She’s been fighting to be absolved of denying a marriage license to a gay couple

Today she lost her last shot at an appeal.

The Supreme Court denied her request to hear her case and ordered her to pay $360,000!

I’m looking forward to the drama fans on TikTok discussing it again. Netflix is adding a ton of older kdramas soon.

I enjoyed this novel (and the show). If I wanted a romance book, I don’t think I would reach for this one since it was quite sad overall. I am glad there are more historical romances with Black FMCs though #booksky

Right? The boss/employee trope is so common and it always kinda gives me the ick but the speech in this one was 100% the reason I wish they’d let the trope die. And before that he set up reasons to be alone w/her and called them “work trips” 😞

Made it to ep 7 before it started to give me the ick a lot of boss/employee dramas do. The speech about him not giving up and asking her out again and again until she said yes was just a big 🚩 #kdramas

I think it’s a continuation of Williamson’s 2023 run. I haven’t read DC in a while and this is part of the All In thing. Have you been keeping up with them? I think the last DC book I read was “The Boy Wonder”. The Wayne Family Adventures webtoon was great for an idealized version of Batfam, lol.

I REALLY enjoyed this! It’s the first DC comic I’ve read in a few years that truly felt like the Damian Wayne I loved years ago. There’s some excellent characterization & progression of his character. I liked the batfamily dynamics & discussion, too. The plot was fascinating.

I didn’t learn a ton of things I didn’t already know, but it’s interesting this was set prior to the overturning of Roe. There’s even a segment where Foster tries to predict what would happen if the SC did overturn Roe and it was heartbreaking to read in the aftermath.

There are so many shows that are 10x more enjoyable without fandom interaction. I forgot how much I generally loved the campy vibe of the Flash. It’s ways to forget when there’s tons of people running a hate campaign for Iris West. I loved her & Candice Patton’s portrayal ❤️

I’ve read countless manhwa and manhua this year and aside from novel plots, I know that the series will be the same creative team from start to finish. Wya else’s chance of someone coming in and assassinating their characterization after like 12 issues

I remember the debate on ⏰ about why manhwa and manga were dominating while the comic book stores were talking about lower revenues & the biggest reason people gave for investing in manga was that they knew they’d most likely have 5+ chapters all by the same creative team

The reason I’ve gone from reading 5 or 6 big 2 comic titles a year to 1 at the most is that any time I got into a series, it was a 5 issue short series. AFAIK, Sam Wilson is only regularly appearing in an Avengers run, and that’s it? The last 5 issue book he had set up interesting things… 😔
