I actually decided to finally read the books bc of the show. I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons and the cast’s take on the characters! 😄 I’m excited that we’re most likely going to see more of what Annabeth (and Artemis) went through in s3. I think seeing more of Luke’s story has been great, too

That’s cool! I personally thought Riordan had to rely a lot of Percy having dreams to show the events happening away from where he was. I prefer getting to hear the new characters’ thoughts, getting more insight into Annabeth’s, and HoO relied less on the dreams

I’ve read 7 #percyjackson books so far (OG 5 & I’m now on the Heroes of Olympus series). Idk if this is a hot take, but I’ve actually enjoyed the Heroes of Olympus series more than the OG. I’m loving the new characters, I think the diversity is great, and the 3rd person POV has been great! #booksky

Finished this book last night and it was incredibly compelling! Where I find a lot of books detailing crime to be sensationalized and quite insensitive, I found Landau centered the victim and her family incredibly well. I felt connected to Lita McClinton and desperate to see justice for her #booksky

It’s a shame #DynamiteKiss went off the rails like that in the final episodes. It started as 1 of my fav dramas this year & ended w/a 7.5/10. I get excited about dramas w/less than 16 episodes because I think they won’t waste time. This felt like they had enough material for 10 & went crazy #kdramas

Having watched Love Scout earlier this year, it’s hard (for me) to like the helpless manchild MMCs in #kdramas. Going from Eun-ho that took care of his child and everyone around him while being extremely competent at his job in Love Scout makes it hard for me to root for Ji Hyeok in #dynamitekiss
