These people need to grow spines. Trump is the world’s weakest bully.

He only selects the limbo contest winners.

Good for California. A lot of dark matter is floating around Austin. Someone should call that out, too.

It was a purely performative move. He’s running against Cornyn (who asked the fbi to get involved) for his U.S. senate seat. Paxton is an impeached indicted criminal.

TXU used to have reasonable rates but I dropped them two years ago. They play a shell game and you get average rates for 12 hours then it’s doubled for the remaining 12 or other various billing shenanigans. There are dozens of electricity resellers with much lower rates if you look for them.

Hamilton: My final point about section 12406, and how it interacts with the PCA. The other side argued that a 12406 exception to the PCA would swallow the PCA. That doesn't make any sense, because it's the PCA that contains language recognizing its inapplicability where statutory exceptions apply.

It’s because trans fats were eliminated from frying oils. Waiting for RFK to bring them back.

Trump doesn’t care one whit about a nominee’s credentials. It’s all about manipulating numbers to make him look good.

Deploying federal troops is alarming but I haven’t seen evidence of malfeasance here.

He’s grandstanding for his upcoming Senate bid. Trying to outdo Cornyn.

Well, give them bigger engines then.

It’s a desperate and disingenuous attempt to try to stay relevant for his reelection.

Well, then run for office and make a difference.

If people really want to vote, they’ll find a way. Voter apathy is rampant here.

09.08.2025 04:59 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah. Except some people aren’t able to walk that distance.

I really struck a nerve here. Bottom line-if you really want to vote, you’ll make it happen.

I will never delete a post. The assassination attempt looks specious to me as well.

Gee, that’s pretty strong. I admire your voting record. I just wish other Texas Democrats would do the same.

I never believe Paxton’s allegations. A criminal has no credibility. That said, if people want to vote, they’ll find a way.

09.08.2025 04:16 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

People can vote if they really want to. There’s no excuse.

09.08.2025 04:13 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Everywhere. Gerrymandering is nationwide. Dems in Texas don’t even show up for Senate or presidential elections. They deserve what they get.

09.08.2025 03:53 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Polls in Texas are open from 7A to 7P and on Saturdays. People can find time to vote here. I’ve never waited in line more than five minutes during early voting. Many Dems here assume falsely that their votes are inconsequential so they don’t bother to vote.

09.08.2025 03:51 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Gerrymandering occurs in all states. Dem voters in Texas just don’t show up to vote. That’s why republicans are elected to the senate and presidency here.

09.08.2025 03:47 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Able bodied people can make it to a nearby polling station. That’s not an excuse. No armed people are around ballot boxes or at polling stations. Don’t demonize legitimate voting.
