The memory-enhancing effects of movement, backed by science | Wendy Suzuki: Full Interview
YouTube video by Big Think The memory-enhancing effects of movement, backed by science | Wendy Suzuki: Full Interview

Exercise and meditation are the most transformative things you can do for your body and brain. It will increase your focus, improve your memory, elevate your mood and (statistically) increase your lifespan.

This is a turning point.
This is the line we draw.
This is the moment history will remember β€” when millions stood together to say NO to Trump, Vance, Vought, Theil, and all the corrupt cronies and cult.

Oregon Micromobility Network

Friends, we're close to passing HB 3626, the Micromobility (ebikes, scooters) bill, a vital step in allowing youth (14 and up) to enjoy ebikes and build a legal foundation for them. We're out of committee and need to fund the effort for floor votes. Can you chip in $14? www.oregonmicromobility.org

The US desperately needs more doctors, engineers & highly educated workers. But we’re telling students that if they want a higher education, they have to go into debt.

Other countries understand how important it is to invest in their young people. We should be doing the same.

An ovoid flint tool about 13 cms long held in a hand

A beautiful, though asymmetric, handaxe. It was made half a million years ago by a person from an early Neanderthal population at Boxgrove, England.
While sediment stained, it is still extremely sharp and would have made a very effective butchery knife.

We can’t arrest our way out of homelessness.

To build safe communities that advance justice for all, we must invest in reaching people with the resources they need, when they need it.

The older I get the less @ and # mean much to me. I feel the best I can do is to be present and show love to the people I am with. The problem with online activities is that there are nearly zero consequences unless you earn your living doing it.

Opinion | Elon Musk’s Legacy: DOGE’s Construction of a Surveillance State (Gift Article) DOGE is rapidly assembling a sprawling monitoring system, the foundation of many authoritarian regimes.

Elon Musk may or may not fulfill his promise to step back from DOGE.

But his legacy is already clear: He is assembling a sprawling domestic surveillance system β€” the likes of which we have never seen in the United States.
