Finally got myself a set of alcohol markers for doing #ttrpg #OC #Art. For today's #inktober theme "Rivals" I decided to pit SCARAB assassin Fatalia Fiore against ACTION Counter Intelligence expert Peregrine.

QUESTING BEAST Huge Abomination Beast Biomes: Forest, Grassland, Highland This creature from Arthurian legend has the body of a leopard, tail of a lion, and a long serpentine neck with a pair of curved horns on its head. Though it is not aggres-sive, it will fight to evade capture. Its insidious power of obsession has driven many brave knights and kings to ru-in. Might 8 Daring 2 Savvy 1 Terror 3; Defense 1, 40 LB Yelps of Obsession: The creature’s voice sounds like a pack of baying hounds. Any hearing this must make a Tough (-4) Flair + Defense roll or gain the Obsession Flaw to capture it. Move: 60’ Run, 40’ Climb, 30’ Leap. Wood Step: it can move through dense brush and foliage completely unim-peded. Tough Hide: 1d3+1 Protection Powerful Nose: +5 to notice checks using smell. Horn Gore: +4 Attack, 1d6+3 Dmg +Hurtle Claws: +3 Attack twice, 2d3 Dmg each. Hurtle: Victim must make a Tough (-4) Might Test or be knocked back 10’ and fall prone. Elusive: Spotting it requires a Hard (-2) Savvy Test. Its paws leave no tracks; tracking it is impossible.

Working on a #ttrpg #monster book for the Honor + Intrigue #Swashbuckling #RPG, and here is my stablock for the Questing Beast, a monster from Arthurian legend. Thoughts?

Recently I have come across some ttrpg creators who have openly embraced ai and have used ai images (i refuse to call it art) all over their works and if they are willing to compromise their work that much it makes me question if it is all written by ai as well. I can't support it at any rate.

The GM also starts fights using Dragonquest wording. "A slime draws near." If an attack misses, say, "but the slime is dodging"

Trivia: Glowworm’s action figure included a sparker in her back that would light up her “strobe medallion” which was affixed to her front. She also had a removable visor to protect her eyes from the light.

Cleaned up an earlier #OC #art piece; this is Shinobi, the SCARAB ninja.

Do the comics deal with the fact that this was over 50 years ago? The Joes are still relatively young and healthy and current storylines seem to take place in modern day, not the 80s.

You should definitely run this on Christmas Eve!

Long time no #art. This is an #OC sketch with the premise being a fantasy pirate captain. This is Dinari Darkfire, captain of the Midnight Moon. I'm not sure if I want the setting to be sea pirates, sky pirates, or aether space pirates yet, though. Which would you rather play a #ttrpg in?

BASH! #superhero #ttrpg Rule idea: Alternative to Keen Senses called "Trained Senses". Instead of +3 Multiplier Bonus you get +10 Result Bonus to the notice check. These would be 1CP each and don't stack with Keen Senses.

What do we think?

Another #ttrpg #OC. This is Eight-Ball, head of SCARAB's elite troops, the SCARAB Beetles. Born with uncanny luck (both good and bad) he became a mercenary after being kicked out of the military for causing an accident that caused millions in damage to government property.

I had a campaign with 10 players. Most sessions I had 5. Only a rare few times did I have 8 or more.

Might I recommend trying a West Marches style campaign? No need to worry about having every single player make it that way. Whoever shows up gets to play that session. Invite more than you expect to come each time.
