I have acquired a new meow, sweet older sister (four months older) Charlie.
Chester is enraged and has informed me she will never forgive me.

Both are great! I'm leaning towards the second one.

This might be corny, but I woke up from a nap this afternoon to find my cat snuggling with me, purring his little heart out, and I thought -- how fortunate we are to have these companions that let us know how with every breath how happy they are, and that we are loved.

They're always watching... 👀 I mean, supervising!

They're supervising and demanding only top-notch cleaning... or else!

Hope he feels much better soon!

I keep wondering why Chester hasn't been using her tree lately and the answer is: I've been at home so the bedroom is open and she's been sleeping on the bed/bedroom window ledge.

CAT: there’s no food

ME: *shakes the food bowl to fill the hole in the middle*

CAT: *eats*

My child is home
(after scolding me for most of the car ride home, escaping her carrier, walking around the car and finally sitting in my lap purr-panting while I gave her plenty of pats).

Also my colleague sent a lengthy update on Chester as well as several photos showing her enjoying her naps and pats with my colleague and her fiance ☺️

I just spent an hour showing my mum every one of Chester's expressions and adventures so I think she has come to accept her young grandchild (also she tells her friends about her ☺️)
