climate action (as in cutting emissions) has to be collective, but to convince anyone else to act you have to be willing to act yourself

ireland actually has a pretty high level of emissions per capita

this in a country where the government is deprioritising climate action

i did my driving lessons in a modern car, but it felt like an anomaly because it had actual physical switches for the lights, fans, etc and didn't even have a screen for reversing, just a little beeper
