I feel mostly the same as you. I see lots of Christians full of hate, and lots of people of other/no religion full of love. But, where do you think Western morals come from? I don't think we really see a lot of things like the inherent value of human life in ancient cultures.

Moving out of the US 6 years ago made it really clear to me that America has a far-right party and a centre-right party. I chuckle every time Dems are called "far left."

There is building momentum for full inclusivity and affirmation within the Church. I believe that 50 or 60 years from now, there will be as many people holding exclusive views as there are today who still support chattel slavery. But you have to allow for the process.

You would think that more Christians would be upset about ICE deporting other Christians. But here's the secret: most American Christians think their own tribe of Christianity is the only real one.

There's a fair amount that I disagree with Dr Moore on. But he strikes me as a decent person, open to other perspectives, and genuinely trying to do good. From the little I've heard from him, I feel like we need more folks like him on the right.
