Today Council unanimously supported my amendment in today’s budget deliberations. We’ve reallocated $800,000 from the City’s existing budget to make sure Community Centre recreation fees stay at 0% increase in 2026. This means admission, passes, lessons, programs, and permits remain affordable.

It’s Remembrance Day in Canada. I will be attending ceremonies in several communities today on behalf of the City of Vancouver. Please take a moment to reflect upon the sacrifices of so many for the freedoms we enjoy today. #LestWeForget

That’s why I’m calling for a new active transportation pathway along Kent Avenue. It would connect River District to Marine Gateway and, eventually, the Arbutus Greenway.
