We launched Vancouver Pride Week at City Hall by raising the Inclusive Pride Flag and the Trans Flag—a powerful symbol of inclusion, visibility, and solidarity.

It was a joy to join my fellow councillors as we officially proclaimed Pride Week in Vancouver. 🏛️

Grateful to celebrate the return of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival at beautiful Jericho Beach earlier this month. 🌊🎶

Thanks to Board Chair Erin Mullan for the kind invite to the opening night reception, where I caught up with friends.

Now in my 3rd year attending, I’m always inspired by the strength, spirit & resilience of Vancouver’s Filipino community. June is proudly Filipino Heritage Month in Vancouver. 🇵🇭❤️

🌎⚽ Walking past my alma mater, Killarney Secondary, where the FIFA World Cup 2026 training field is under construction!

This spot will soon welcome the world’s top players. Long-term upgrades like better fields, drainage & lighting will benefit the community for decades.

Formerly Trutch Street, this renaming is a powerful act of reconciliation and cultural revitalization.
