the quannuc are some of my favorite dwarves in all of fantasy, and they're explicitly Inuit coded. but they're not like, literally Inuit people. they live in the mountains, they have rams they use as beasts of burden. these nuances matter.

I think a lot of work can be done just by saying "familiarize yourself with stereotypes and don't be racist." and then when people in your rp servers continue to make shrine maidens and savage brutes and shamans you can tell they're just racist on purpose. hope that helps.

it is genuinely weird to say that people can only write characters within their own race and that every fantasy culture should/is a direct one-to-one with one real life culture exclusively.
