About an hour in, and I'm really enjoying assassin's Creed shadows, @ubisoft.com good storyline, solid, familiar mechanics, and intriguing characters.

Assassin's Creed shadows is beautiful, no doubt, but I'm five minutes in, and still haven't actually played anything yet. The cinematics are neat, but come on.

Is assassin's Creed shadows taking an eternity to install on PC for anyone else? It's been installing for over 3 hours now and it still only 75% of the way done.

The more I've thought about it, the more I think the main problem isn't with the messaging itself, but rather the fact that Dems allow Republicans to set the framework, and therefore language, of the conversation.

Those paddles and pink shirts were a pathetic protest that made them all look like knobs.

The walk out t shirts were a half decent idea poorly executed.

We wanted a show of unity and strength from them, not stupid wardrobe choices.

I'd say it's pretty clear that, as a party, they are very much not in.

Ah, so that's the problem. Democrats don't appear united because they apparently don't know what united means.

Stay to make Trump uncomfortable? How much stupider can they get? He loves antagonizing them to their faces.

We want real action, not poorly thought out political posturing.

We need to be focused on:

1. Filing and winning lawsuits to stop, slow, or weaken the most damaging parts of his agenda.
2. Reenergizing and unifying the left behind real leaders who can win
3. Retaking ground in the midterms
4. Ensuring that his chosen successor fails in four years.

Yep. And so since that's the reality we live in, calling for his arrest and impeachment (which won't even make it through the House, let alone conviction in the Senate, and would just further energize his already rabid base), I think we should all focus on achievable results.

Yep, I've been following the Lincoln Project since the very beginning, as well as Joe Walsh.

I'm not saying there aren't Republicans who hate Trump. I'm saying that there aren't enough Republicans who do in power to remove Trump.

I didn't pick the 40 years ago number out of a hat.

What have Republicans done in the last 40 years that made you think that?

Never once during either impeachment process did I ever think anywhere near enough would vote to remove him.

All it did was give credence to the "They're out to get me" victim mentality that conservatives ate up.

You sure can. But only one of them is going to accomplish anything.

Impeaching Trump the first and second time was the biggest political mistake Democrats have made in my lifetime, and is a major reason he won again.

That's the fight they want.

Don't give it to them.

And more important than the problem, it's the reason we need to focus on fighting his agenda rather than crowing about arresting or impeaching him.

Well, best of luck with getting anyone to make those charges stick.

I remember hearing people talk about presidential immunity when I was a kid and Clinton was being impeached. We literally talked about it in seventh grade social studies. It is not a last year thing.

Impeachment will not happen with any republican-controlled or close Congress.

Is presidential immunity no longer a thing?

Arrest/impeachment talk is a waste of time and energy that's just meant to make liberals feel better and that our "leaders" are at least trying.

But it's not going to happen. We need to focus on blocking his agenda, not removing him.

Unfortunately being a bad president is not a crime.

"I don't know anything about Joe Walsh's career over the last few years" would have been fewer words.

Every democratic member of Congress not giving an updated version of this speech every day is a complicit coward.

I know it's not a top priority right now, but eventually someone needs to put together a working group on how to get studios to stop making live action remakes of perfect cartoons.

It's exhausting, honestly. I've been playing fortnite since it first came out, and I don't really want to play anymore but I simply don't have the energy or will to learn how to play a new game.

No such thing for US presidents. The only ways of getting rid of him are the 25th amendment or impeachment, neither of which will happen with the current cabinet and Congress.

He is the president for almost certainly 4 years and we need to focus energy on beating his agenda, not removing him.

I love the optimism required to think his followers will ever admit that he and his policies are the reason they are hurting. When you can blame "the deep state" and "illegals" for all your problems, you never have to criticize Dear Leader.

In the wake of his retirement announcement, it is wonderful to see that Mitch McConnell is almost universally reviled by people on both sides of the aisle.

Also, the reporters probably don't actually KNOW that it isn't true.
