There are loads of bits stops by roads where motor traffic makes me feel unsafe. Are you suggesting we should be banning bus stops?

I don't know the location but I'm willing to bet that it is pending to private motors that lead to the design you think is compromised.

Many years ago I used to fly gliders for leisure. They are fun but not very practical for moving large numbers of people around. It's time we stopped accepting SE Asia as an acceptable destination for holiday flights from Europe.

Sounds like she's the exact opposite in fact. A free-flying climate denier.
I loved flying too, but the damage it does is undeniable so like other harmful but enjoyable things I've all but stopped.
