Maybe our PCC should stick the basics of the job, and not try silly political stunts?

Their 'Managed Decline' policy (as official documents show) of deliberately not providing or spending enough £££ on our roads was the WRONG choice for our county

At City Council budget meeting. I had a small speech and a large elephant to try and persuade council to vote for funds to inch the playground project forward. Now we wait for the vote. 🤞🤞🤞 Thanks to @libdemsoxon.bsky.social @oxfordlabour.bsky.social and Oxford Greens for their support.

🚎🚌 Bus fares went back up this year, but we’ll invest to keep the price of park and ride buses FROZEN for the next year - keeping travel affordable and reducing congestion #oxonbudget2025

👶👦🧒 We’re investing an additional £1.14 million into SEND provision

This will go towards speeding up the completion of EHCPs and bringing experts from our special schools to help support in mainstream settings #oxonbudget2025

🚞 We’re putting in NEW funding to leverage investment from others to upgrade our stations, facilities and create more connections all around the county #oxonbudget2025

🤑 The Tories sat on tens of MILLIONS of pounds of developer contributions with no plan to spend it

We’re now spending it fast, and we’ll invest to turbocharge and unlock spending around the county on the people’s priorities #oxonbudget2025
