Yalan Zhang, Ph.D., a senior research scientist in the Kaczmarek lab, was awarded the Third Place Poster Prize.

Rachel McAllister, a Ph.D. candidate in the Bhattacharyya and Gupta labs, was awarded the Second Place Poster Prize.

Vanessa Kelley, Ph.D., a recent graduate of the Contessa lab, was awarded the First Place Poster Prize.

João Victor Gomes, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Butterwick Lab, was awarded The Elias Lolis Prize for Best Paper for his first author Nature paper (doi: 10.1038/s41586-024-07255-w). The structure of BmGr9 bound to D-fructose published in the paper was used on the retreat poster.

The Pharmacology Department has its annual retreat on March 31 & April 1 at Mt Snow, and it was a blast!

We'd like to announce the winners of several prizes awarded at the retreat in order to celebrate the accomplishments of our department members.
