JoΓ£o Victor Gomes, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Butterwick Lab, was awarded The Elias Lolis Prize for Best Paper for his first author Nature paper (doi: 10.1038/s41586-024-07255-w). The structure of BmGr9 bound to D-fructose published in the paper was used on the retreat poster.
