Adding to my 2025 reads book list. Finished Reel by @kennedyryan.bsky.social and loved it, like everything else she writes, because of how richly and full of nuance she writes female characters in particular.

In this workshop with Nawal Qarooni, participants will examine biases, explore language stories, and integrate family practices into curriculum. Critical Social & Emotional Learning: From โCompetenciesโ to โCulture: Tuesday, July 22 โข This workshop with Dr. Emma McMain reimagines SEL as open dialogue rather than a rigid checklist. Participants will explore how personal values connect to culture and collaborate to create artifacts that turn social and emotional learning into a shared process of growth. Pedagogical Documentation: Learning Stories as Stewardship: Wednesday, July 23 โข Educator and author Angela Stockman invites participants to move beyond traditional measures to explore how pedagogical documentation serves as an act of stewardshipโhonoring, preserving, and nurturing rich narratives about learners and learning.
